Love and Healing Thoughts to Boris

Boris had surgery yesterday to remove stones from his bladder.  Poor guy had more stones than the vet had ever seen.  He had to stay at the emergency vet last night and get extra fluids.  He's a tough guy though and sounds like he's doing better after a rough night.  We can't wait to get you home buddy and get you well!

Congrats Erica on A+ in Honors English!

Nice work blondie!  Great to see you on Thanksgiving.  Here's a few pictures from our great day in Sedro Wooley with the Hedgpeth clan.  We missed Zach, Amber and all the Hasselman's on turkey day!  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday too!

Chris's 30th Obama Birthday Surprise

Happy Birthday Chris!  Chris turned 30 on December 3.  Thanks to all of you who helped pull off his Obama birthday surprise party - especially Patrick and Erin for the distraction plan, Amy and Thom for the cooking help and the hilarious t-shirt and Dad and Mom Hasselman for the amazing photo shop work.  We had another great celebration on Tuesday nite when Larry and Josie drove all the way down to Seattle with homemade lasanga and poundcake for the birthday boy.  We love all you guys - thanks for celebrating with us!

Tanner Update!

Check out how adorable Tanner, Nathan and Bailey are!  We had a great time with you guys on thanksgiving.  He's such a cute, big guy.  Thanks Amy, Thom and Kai for the new clothes - Tanner looked especially handsome in the fuzzy, white bear suit.  More posts shortly (sorry for the long delay post readers!)

Amy's Birthday

Chris and I celebrated with Amy, Thom, Colleen, Lauren, Kai, Grace and Harry this morning.  We made this birthday sign for Amy who is turning 25ish and Kai who is going to be 1 on September 28.  After Lauren read Chris some Slaughterhouse Five, we all went for a wet walk around Greenlake.  Kai said "Yum" and "Dad."  Great day.  Happy Birthday Amy!  We love you!

Condo Update

This weekend was all about cabinet installation and saying goodbye to the dark purple paint in the entryway (after painting a bird mural).

Visiting Tanner, Nathan, and Bailey

We took the day off last Tuesday and went to meet Tanner.  Nathan, Bailey, Tanner and Pudge took us for a walk down to the Skagit river.  Tanner is adorable and makes lots of noises.  Jennifer and Erica came by for lunch and we ended up discussing the Odyssey since Erica is reading it for her freshman honors English class.  Great to see everyone.  Thanks, we think, to the winged feet of Athene, we made it home safely.
